For this project, the entire grade of the backyard was lowered approximately 2 feet to allow for a “level to the sidewalk” seating area for the owners. We left the grass and a portion of the backyard at original grade due to the sewer. A new deck was installed (by a carpentry contractor) to allow for access to the new patio.
